Built in the 14th century by the Saracens to avoid pirate attacks, the Tower is completely surrounded by lemon trees and Mediterranean gardens. Fully renovated, the Tower (185 square meters) is more modern in its furniture and offers breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast and its blue and green sea.  It is a very large property divided, on one side, by the characteristic ancient Watchtower and, with 3 different and charming separate annexes: The Tower dependence, Casa Delle More, and Luna Guest House.

The external areas include splendid terraces overlooking the sea, while holly groves with pleasant paths lead guests to the private swimming-pool, two separate pools connected by a charming staircase. The entire property enjoys wonderful sea views.

LOCATION

Just outside the city center of Maiori, this property lies off the main coastal road and descends all the way to the sea.  The location is ideal for those who want a quiet stay but still prefer to be close to the major towns of the Amalfi Coast.  The center of Maiori, just 3 km away, is a well-known, active town with the largest beach on the Amalfi Coast. The town offers a colorful nightlife as well as good restaurants and shops. Maiori has a small tourist port with ferries to Amalfi.

  • All extra services required by Client, during the stay, will be charged directly to the Client in the final bill with.
  • All grocery and household costs, (such bath products, personal hygiene products, detergents) during the rental period, and for on-site shopping with credit card will be charged directly to the Client in the final bill with an additional fee of 20% for delivery service.
  • For administrative reasons, the property does not accept American Express and Diners card.
  • Please note all the extras are taxed an additional 22 % Italian lodging tax, which is not included in the price.
  • Guests must provide a Food and Beverage list (incl. wine, etc.) to the cook before their arrival so that the cook can insure the kitchen and bar service as soon as the guests arrive
  • The cook will advance the expense for food and beverage purchasing for the arrival day
  • Allergies to certain food must be very clearly mentioned well in advance before food purchase
  • All detailed accounting of the food and beverage expenses will be given to the guests at their arrival and follow up for these expenses will be done at the end of each week.
  • Cellphone signal may be intermittent as the property is located in a remote area
  • Only authorized staff and personnel are permitted to be onsite.
  • It is possible to rent the entire estate accommodating up to 26 people (The Tower and Villa Luisa).

ACCOMODATION

The Tower, ground floor, with a magnificent terrace:

In the Tower we find the elegant living room equipped with sofas, armchairs, a table, Air condition and the kitchen on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with a five-range stovetop, a griddle, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and bread toaster.  On a lower floor, with access from the living room, we find the beautiful dining room with stone walls and the first terrace with wrought iron tables and chairs, offering amazing sea views of the coast, also access to an external terrace with various coffee tables and chairs.

The Tower, first floor (with access from external staircase):

The first floor of the Tower consists of one large panoramic living room offering breath-taking views, with a fireplace and three comfortable sofas, a TV and stereo with CD player, and a half-bath equipped with a washbasin and a toilet.

The Tower, second floor: 20 steps up from the first floor leads to the second floor of the Tower, consisting of one-bedroom Suite with a double bed, furnished with antique pieces and air conditioning. From the corridor of the bedroom, we find the bathroom with shower and access to a second terrace of the Tower and to the solarium (roof terrace). The terrace has an external shower, a hammock, two sun lounge chairs, and two deck chairs. It also boasts an external dining area with an oval table and chairs and an outdoor barbeque.

The Tower Dependence (one bedroom):

Located next to the Tower lies yet another, bright double bedroom with couches, bedside tables, and a chest of drawers accessible by a sliding glass door. The floor and the base of the bed is built with beautiful, hand-painted ceramic tiles and a headboard in lava stone. Small walk-in closet. Bathroom with glassed-in mosaic tile shower and characteristically rocky wall; the bathroom offers stunning views. Air conditioning. Small refrigerator. Private balcony with breath taking views above the sea, equipped with a small table and chairs.

Casa delle More annex, Guest House n. 1 (two bedrooms):

Located between the Tower and the pool, offering privacy and quiet, this guest house enjoys a double bedroom with headboard in lava stone and a bed base of beautiful ceramic tiles. Smaller twin bedroom (perfect for children) that shares a bathroom with a shower with mosaic tiles, located in a corridor that divides these two rooms. Air conditioning and a small refrigerator.  The guest house also enjoys a sea view terrace with a private garden.

The Luna annex, Guest House n. 2 (one bedroom):

Located by the swimming pool, this guest house enjoys a spacious double bedroom with a beautiful lava stone headboard and a bed base built with hand painted ceramic tiles, antique pieces of furniture, and a classical statue. A flight of steps leads up to the bathroom with a large shower box in mosaic tiles. The annex boasts air conditioning and a small v and enjoys a nicely equipped terrace offering panoramic views.

La Roccia, Guest House n. 3 (one bedroom):

Situated near to the swimming pool area, this guest house enjoys a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower and an art installation from the 70’s. Air conditioning and refrigerator. Charming terrace.

Swimming Pool:

The tower has access an exclusive double-level swimming pool, ingeniously linked by communicating steps: one small round-sinuous pool, a level slightly lower than the pool 3 meters large and 6 meters long (a rectangular shape) surrounded by a small garden. The area is equipped with sun beds and a hammock and the pool is open from May to October. The pool also features a salt purifier and sand filter.

Private Direct Access to the Sea:

A winding path leads down below the tower to a private cove for swimming in the sea. You have direct access to the sea of a concrete platform reachable down a private walkway consisting of approximately 250 steps. The estate provides guests with a small electric golf cart for easier access to the sea. The area is equipped with deck chairs and an external shower.

Fitness Room with bathroom

The gym is located in the garden area (reachable on foot or by electric golf cart) and boasts two treadmills, a spin bike, a decline/sit up bench, and a ‘step’ platform. There are three large panoramic windows and paintings that decorate the room. There is also a bathroom with a shower and toilet. (Note: the gym is shared with Villa Luisa).

The Farmhouse:

There is a small farm with donkeys, ponies, falabella, alpacas, sheep and chickens, as well as dogs and cats. The place brings a lot of joy, especially to the youngest visitors (shared with Villa Luisa).

Access to the Tower and private parking:

Once you get to the parking lot of the property, the estate provides guests with a small, electric golf cart for easier access to the property that is situated at the end of a winding road. Private parking space just for 2 cars (shared with Villa Luisa).
